NOTE

  • Please kindly check that your 48V battery is capable of being charged at a fast rate of 5A, 3A or 2A before purchasing this charger (or your battery may get hot, cause damage to the battery or, at worst case, may cause a fire). It will depend on your battery quality and size. Typically, a 48V 12.5ah or larger amp hour (ah) rated battery can be charged at 3A, a 10Ah battery can be charged at 2A and a 20Ah battery is typically fine to be charged with 5A however, we recommend to check with your original battery supplier beforehand.
  • The nominal voltage of a 48V lithium-ion battery is 48V however it will charge to 54.6V when full.
  • This charger is not intended for use with e-bikes, e-scooters or other e-mobility devices in New South Wales.
