ABOUT THE OWNER
Before the covid pandemic I had to commute from Cranbourne to Melbourne’s CBD for my full-time job every day. Unfortunately, I found the train line to be very unreliable and the train often left me stranded in the middle of nowhere. Driving or catching public transport was also very expensive and I just had a young family on the way. I began riding my ebike to work instead (55km one-way, 110km per day i.e. 550km each week!!). I did this most days, even rode in heavy rain, extreme wind or in the middle of summer. I learnt so much about ebikes and how to improve their reliability during this time. After just my first year, I clocked up over 17,000km on my ebike and rode more than 60,000km over a four-year period.
By riding my ebike so much, I fell in love with it and reached a point where I barely broke down anymore. I also became very fit and loved the fresh air each morning. With my ebike I could simply ride further, see and experience more and still get a great deal of exercise. I still ride almost as much to this day but now also spend my time helping others to get starting with buying their first ebike (or custom building their dream ebike with us). It brings me great joy seeing others riding their ebike and helping them with my wealth of experience. I like to provide people with the same reliability and comfort which took me years to master.
Here at Electric Pedal Power, we like to sell reliable ebikes which require very minimal maintenance, are much more fun than anything you can buy in your local bike shop and can also be customised according to your budget.
